Your AI Is running in AWS. Now your security can too.

F5 Ecosystem | June 17, 2026

We get to talk to some of the largest companies in the world about their AI deployments, and the story is consistent: AI has moved out of the lab and into production. According to F5's 2026 State of Application Strategy Report, 78% of organizations are now operating their own AI inference, and the average enterprise is running seven AI models simultaneously. That production footprint lives predominantly in the cloud. Agents are another even newer frontier, with 98% of organizations actively preparing for agentic AI. While much of that work is still taking shape, what's clear is that the cloud, and AWS in particular, is where enterprises are building and deploying AI today.

That's why we're excited to announce that F5 AI Guardrails and F5 AI Red Team are now available in AWS Marketplace.

AI at scale means inference at scale

The shift from AI experimentation to AI operations has happened faster than most security teams anticipated. AI-related workloads now account for 19% of total enterprise cloud spending in 2026, up from just 8% in 2023, and inference workloads now consume more compute than training for the first time.

AWS is the dominant cloud environment for enterprise workloads, and AI is no exception. With 84% of enterprises running active workloads in AWS, it's reasonable to conclude that a significant share of the AI inference now hitting production is running there, too. And the Bedrock numbers back that up: tokens processed on Amazon Bedrock in Q1 2026 alone exceeded the total from all prior years combined, a signal of just how quickly enterprise AI demand is accelerating on the platform.

AWS customers can now discover, procure, and deploy F5 AI security without leaving the environment where their AI already lives.

Security, in many cases, hasn't kept pace. Procurement friction, integration complexity, and the simple reality of having to buy AI security tools outside your primary cloud have left gaps. F5 is closing that gap with our new AWS Marketplace listing for AI security.

Secure your AI where it runs

F5 AI Guardrails delivers runtime protection for AI models, applications, and the data flowing through them. It operates at the inference layer, which means it works consistently regardless of the model you're running, whether that's a proprietary model, a third-party model, or an open-source model hosted in your AWS environment. Policies are authored in natural language, making it practical for security and governance teams to define and enforce controls without deep AI and machine learning expertise. And because it operates inline, any application or agent routing traffic through a secured inference endpoint inherits that protection automatically.

F5 AI Red Team brings proactive adversarial testing to the AI systems you've already deployed or those you still need to test before they reach production. In many cases, AI systems are being put into production faster than security teams can manually evaluate them. F5 AI Red Team uses agent swarms to simulate real-world attacks, including prompt injection, jailbreaks, and model manipulation to generate explainable findings that security teams can actually act on. The result is a clearer picture of where your AI systems are vulnerable before attackers find out first.

Together, these capabilities form a closed loop: AI Red Team uncovers what can be exploited, AI Guardrails enforces what should be allowed, and F5 AI Remediate bridges the two, accelerating how quickly vulnerabilities are patched with new guardrails. Now all of it is available through the procurement channel AWS customers already use.

Faster time to value, fewer procurement headaches

AWS Marketplace availability is about more than just convenience. For enterprises with existing AWS committed spend, F5 AI Guardrails and F5 AI Red Team can apply against existing contractual commitments, accelerating procurement and reducing the time between evaluation and production deployment. AWS customers can now discover, procure, and deploy F5 AI security without leaving the environment where their AI already lives.

The AI your organization depends on deserves the same operational rigor as any other critical production system. Find F5 AI Guardrails and F5 AI Red Team in AWS Marketplace today.

Also, be sure to attend the F5 AI Summit, a three-hour virtual event on June 23 where we’ll be talking in depth about how F5 is advancing a partner ecosystem for AI.
