Overview

F5 AI Guardrails and F5 AI Red Team (collectively, the “Service”), provide customers with an integrated platform for AI security, risk management, and operational enablement. The core solutions help our customers build, test, monitor, and defend AI systems—ensuring compliance, protection against threats, and safe innovation throughout the full AI lifecycle.

• F5 AI Guardrails (formerly “Inference Defend”) – real-time defense protecting customer AI Models from emerging threats and attacks.
• F5 AI Red Team (formerly “Red Team”) – adversarial testing of customer AI models to uncover potential vulnerabilities in AI models before attackers can exploit them.

This Privacy Statement applies to the data that the Service uses for the hosted version of the parts listed above. This does not apply to the Service parts hosted in the customer environment.

Roles of the Parties

Under the data protection laws of the EU and similar jurisdictions, F5 is a processor of the customer data, and the customer is, or acts on behalf of, a controller of such data, to the extent it contains personal data.

Personal Data Processed by the Service

The Service processes data from prompts or responses observed or recorded, and/or any HTTP header information added by the customer.The personal information is used to operate and provide the Service, to understand how customers use the Service, and to gain insight into how F5 may improve the Service in the future.
