“FCP has allowed our team to scale our cost based on our usage. This made our transition from other load balancing software to F5's NGINX Plus more appealing from a spend perspective. Having a predictable cost, while also letting us scale up as traffic demands it, is exactly what we were looking for.”

“Self-service on F5 licensing was a game changer. It allowed us to move from a process that would take weeks to get through the process of requesting a quote, purchase orders, and invoicing to one that is complete in a much shorter time period.”

Use FCP to access F5 products across deployable software, SaaS, and managed services. Start with what you need now and expand as requirements change—with less procurement friction. Product availability varies by agreement.
“FCP has had a considerable impact. We have been able to roll out new VEs at a moment's notice and have them licensed immediately. When using perpetual licenses, it would take up to 6 weeks for a project to acquire budget and then another 6-8 weeks to go through quotation and procurement processes. Effectively about 3 months to acquire a perpetual license. I am now able to deliver a new F5 BIG-IP fully licensed within a few hours.”

FCP is F5’s flagship buying program and successor to ELA. It combines program terms and offers access to eligible F5 offerings under a single agreement, designed to improve flexibility and budget predictability while reducing procurement friction. Start with what you need today and expand as you grow, with no new contracts or procurement cycles.
FCP includes eligible F5 offerings across two schedules: Schedule A (Deployable Software) supports BIG-IP VEs, NGINX, F5 Insight, AI Security, and software on rSeries and VELOS. Schedule B (SaaS and managed services) supports F5 Distributed Cloud Services. Product availability can vary by agreement. For the full, up-to-date list of what’s available for your deal contact your F5 team.
FCP provides visibility and compliance via a monthly activity report. Usage reporting differs by schedule and product. For Schedule B (F5 Distributed Cloud Services), usage is reported using automated telemetry, sourced internally with no action required by you or the sales team; Customer Success consolidates and shares reports monthly. For Schedule A, usage is product-dependent and may include automated telemetry, BIG-IQ, and/or customer-provided reporting, coordinated through Customer Success.
You can see your BIG-IP and NGINX products in MyF5 today. For broader FCP usage visibility, it’s F5’s intent to make usage available and visible in MyF5 in the future. In the meantime, the Customer Success team produces and shares monthly usage reports. MyF5 remains the destination for managing access and obtaining licenses for deployable products.
FCP is built around a minimum annual spend commitment over a 3-year period, adjusted each year based on your actual usage. You’ll receive a monthly activity report for visibility into consumption, and you’ll benefit from a single annual payment, reduced procurement and negotiation cycles, and support included with no additional renewals. If your usage exceeds the annual commitment, adjustments may apply based on schedule and agreement terms—your Customer Success team will walk you through what that means for your situation.
